Welcome

This page answers common questions about Memori. For account-specific issues, use in-app Settings → Support or email [email protected]. We aim to respond within a few business days but do not guarantee a specific response time.

Sign in

Memori supports sign-in with Google or Apple only. We do not offer email/password registration. If sign-in fails, check that you have a stable internet connection and try again. For Apple, you can use "Hide My Email" if you prefer a private relay address.

Adding memories

Use the + button to add photos, videos, audio, documents, links, or notes. Organize memories into folders from the Folders tab. Optional location tags require location permission when adding a memory. The location where a photo was taken is removed from the photo file when it is uploaded. Photos uploaded with earlier app versions may still contain it.

When a save includes text and/or media, the title, story, folder, and the other language are written with Qwen (Alibaba Cloud). See Artificial intelligence (AI) below.

Artificial intelligence (AI)

Memori uses AI like this:

  • Qwen (Alibaba Cloud): title, story, folder, the other language, and short facts. Includes photos and videos, and transcribes audio

Tips: Review AI text before sharing. Edit any memory after save (editing never uses AI). Delete your account (Settings → Security) to remove stored personal context facts.

Sharing

You can share individual memories via public links or invite others to folders. Sharing is off by default, and you control when links are created or revoked. Anyone who has a public link can open the memory and its media until you stop sharing.

Plans and subscriptions

Free plan: 1 GB of storage, 80 memories, and 80 AI actions (one-time). After 80 memories, nothing is blocked: you can choose to watch a short video ad to make one more save, or upgrade. Ads are optional and only play when you tap to watch.

Paid plans: 3 GB, 50 GB, or 500 GB, monthly or yearly, via the App Store or Google Play. No ads, no memory limit, and AI credits renew every month.

  • View plans in Settings → Premium
  • Each save with AI uses one AI credit, for a photo or a video alike. Your balance is on the Premium screen
  • When AI credits run out, the AI save does not happen. On the free plan you can choose a short video to save that one memory, or upgrade
  • Cancel anytime in your store account: on Apple, at least 24 hours before renewal; on Google Play, before the renewal date
  • Tap Restore purchases after reinstalling or on a new device

Export your data

On every plan: Settings → Export data. You get a file (JSON) with your account, folders, memories, and media links.

Delete individual content (without deleting your account)

You can remove specific memories or folders while keeping your Memori account.

Delete one or more memories

  1. Open a memory, tap ⋯ (quick actions), then Delete, or select multiple memories and tap Delete
  2. Confirm. Items are moved to Trash
  3. Trash is emptied permanently after 24 hours on the free plan and the 3 GB plan, and 30 days on the 50 GB and 500 GB plans. Your account and other memories stay intact

Delete a folder

  1. Open the folder → ⋯ or folder settings → Delete
  2. Confirm. The folder, its subfolders, and memories move to trash

Stop sharing

  • Open a shared memory → Manage → Stop sharing to revoke a public link without deleting the memory

Delete your account

To permanently delete your Memori account and associated data:

  1. Open Settings → Security
  2. Tap Delete account
  3. Confirm the action

Without the app: email [email protected] from the email address of your Memori account, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account and its data within 30 days.

What is deleted: your account (email, name, sign-in links), memories, uploaded media, folders, sharing links and invites, AI data (titles, stories, translations, personal context facts), push tokens, subscription records in our system, and support requests. Product usage events are deleted on request.

What may remain for a while: database backups kept by our provider, until they expire; purchase records that Apple or Google keep under their own policies; and data we must keep to meet legal obligations.

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple or Google Play settings. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Biometric lock

Enable Face ID or fingerprint lock for private folders in Settings → Security. Biometric data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.

Files on device (optional)

Off by default. To show Memori in system file pickers (for example when uploading to a government website):

  1. Open Settings → Files on device (from Profile)
  2. Read the consent screen and turn on sync
  3. Wait for sync to finish, then choose Memori in the other app's file picker

Turn off: disable sync in the same screen and confirm. Local copies are deleted from your device. Cloud memories are not affected. See Privacy Policy.
